Spartans Guidelines
Player Participation Rule (PPR)
Players are expected to attend all practices or notify team officials of their absence. Absences may result in a reduction of playing time and can result in removal from the team.
Junior Bantam and Bantam
Each player is to be included in a minimum of 10 plays, including all special teams, in each game scheduled by the VMFL. This rule is enforced by the league in the playoffs.
Each club is under an honour system to promote PPR. Clubs may write down their concerns on the Game Commissioner’s Report, if they feel that the PPR was not used properly. The Commissioner will bring this to the attention of the Club President, where it then becomes a Club matter.

Midget football is considered a competitive league. There is no player participation rule in effect for regular season or playoffs. A player is not entitled by registration to play in each or any game.
